[edit]Add your name to this list if you can make it to our second meetup People of all ages and all Wikimedia projects (including people who are just curious) are welcome! There's no need to stay all day if you're busy—you can stay for as long or as little as you like.
Please also invite any Nottingham, Nottinghamshire or wider Midlands Wikimedia people you know (or have had wiki dealings with) – spread the word! Spouses/partners and +1s are welcome.

About the meet up
[edit]A social gathering for Wikimedia enthusiasts, where
- Some of us will drink beer, some will have soft drinks. Some might have lunch.
- We chat about Wikipedia and any other topics we fancy
- We might go for a walk (weather dependent!) and look at notable local features or move to another pub.
Mainly a casual social event. You can expect to meet some very keen Wikipedians but this is also an open invitation to anyone interested in finding out more about Wikipedia, other Wikimedia projects, projects re-using Wikipedia, and other collaborative wiki projects. Feel free to join us for as long or as little as you like.
A social gathering for Wikimedia enthusiasts, held in a family-friendly pub just outside Nottingham City Centre a short walk or bus/taxi ride from the station. The pub is cosy so younger Wikipedians should feel most welcome and the pub serves coffees and soft drinks, so alcohol consumption is certainly not required.
A meetup is a great opportunity to meet other Wikipedians, to discuss Wikipedia and Wikimedia-related issues, or to get help from experienced editors.
Location and accessibility

The Roebuck Inn (Q26560550) is a Wetherspoon pub on St James' Street, between the market square and Maid Marian Way. The train station is a 15-minute walk away at Carrington St., Nottingham NG2 3AQ. There are two multi-storey NCP car parks on Maid Marian Way. Wifi and food are available in the pub.
Look for Wikipedia iconography at any of the downstairs tables, as we'll be sat there. There is step-free access into the pub itself. Feel free to reach out or use the talk page if you have any questions.
