Wikimédia LGBT+ est un groupe d’utilisateurs de Wikimédia qui promeut le développement des contenus d’intérêt pour les communautés LGBT+ sur les projets Wikimédia. Wikimédia LGBT+ est un groupe d’utilisateurs global et intercommunautaire qui accueille des personnes de toutes sortes quelles que soient leurs races, religions, origines ethniques, nationalités, orientations sexuelles, identités de genre et capacités. Wikimédia LGBT+ a été annoncé pour la première fois lors de la Wikimania en 2012 et a été approuvé par le Comité des affiliations en septembre 2014.
Mission
We ensure that LGBT+ people, communities and their cultures are represented in Wikimedia projects. We do this by supporting LGBT+ people and allies across the world safely to improve LGBT+ content, and to access and participate in Wikimedia projects and related Open Knowledge projects.

Our vision
Writing in 2026, by 2031, we envision:
- our independent organisation to be globally recognized as the most important advocate for, and advisor on LGBT+ Open Knowledge and the people that create it;
- the Wikimedia Movement to be offering sustained programmes that assure queer safety, representation and sharing across Wikimedia projects and languages, as well as a framework of widely accepted standards and norms for queer content, and its creation from original sources; and
- a world in which access and contribution to free knowledge is equitable, inclusive and accepting of LGBT+ history and reality.

Activités
Activités associées à Wikimédia LGBT+ :
- renforcement et sensibilisation de la communauté, en concentrant les efforts sur les événements LGBT, Wikimania et d’autres événements Wikimédia ;
- encouragement des collaborations avec d’autres projets Wikimédia et avec des organisations externes, tels que WikiProject LGBT studies (sur l’édition anglophone de Wikipédia), LGBT Free Media Collective (sur Wikimédia Commons en anglais) et Wiki Loves Pride ;
- développement de politiques pour un environnement sûr, y compris par une demande de résolution du conseil d’administration de la Fondation Wikimédia concernant l’homophobie.
