Wiki Loves Design
This article seeks to outline the 2020 Wiki Loves Design project. If the project is adopted then it can be moved to a sub-article page focusing on the initial project design.
Purpose
[edit]Improve the quality and quantity of design and arts related articles on Wikipedia.
It is our observation that design and art related content on Wikipedia is significantly under covered. This project seeks resolve that by a) encouraging the growth and accessibility of referencable content and b) creating and improving Wikipedia articles on design and art related subjects. It takes advantage of partnership opportunities with design related partner organisations to achieve this. Key to success is the participation of members of the design community to help with content relevant to their areas of interest in addition to the participation of veteran editors to assist in getting note worthy content onto Wikipedia.
