Hi Marchenko,
Sorry to disturb you again. But I have a doubt. In order to count as one edit it should be 3000 bytes, right?. So what about new articles created - whole article has 3000 bytes or each edit contains 3000 bytes?SijiR (talk) 16:24, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- If an article has been created, its size must be at least 3000 bytes. If an article has been expanded, its size must be increased by at least 3000 bytes. S.Marchenko (talk) 17:03, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you. SijiR (talk) 15:07, 27 July 2026 (UTC)

[edit]
Dear S.Marchenko,
Thank you so much for taking part in Wiki Loves Eurovision 2026!
We launched this inaugural contest to celebrate the historic 70th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest held in Vienna this May, and the results have completely exceeded our expectations! This incredible success wouldn't have been possible without amazing people like you.
As a token of our appreciation, we are extremely proud to present you with this special barnstar. You can proudly display it on your user page in any Wikimedia project to show that you were a part of this historic first edition.
Thank you once again for your time and dedication! We already invite you to join us for Wiki Loves Eurovision 2027 next May. We will be taking all our experience from this year to make the second edition even bigger and better, and we would love to see you there!

Hello!
[edit]About this and just to clarify, is there a specific number of edits or contributions that would make an account considered to have “significant contributions” and therefore not eligible for usurpation? I’m just trying to figure out whether my account would still be eligible, so I can know if the username I’m requesting could be changed. Thanks! Mαrtiϟ 05:12, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hello! They mostly usurp accounts without any edits to the article space, or if the edits were made a long time ago (10-15 years ago). But the most common is the usurpation of accounts with one or two edits made 10-15 years ago. S.Marchenko (talk) 06:01, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info! In that case, do you think it would be possible with Martí? There haven’t been any edits since November 4, 2015, so it’s been more than 10 years. I just wanted to check before submitting a new request. Mαrtiϟ 18:16, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
