Mind not to edit typo on Translation source pages(request)
[edit]Hi, I totally understand clearing typos such as punctuation is based on good faith: however, are you aware it does send pings (reminders) to all translators who watches the page you have corrected a single letter or not?
I hesitated to write here first, but... Please kindly understand you are nudging a good number of ppl to check, and you would be appreciated by double checking the number of languages listed as to be translated into. We both respect the passion and time we invest, can we?
Solution? Contact the Translation admin to fix the typo. They will handle and without making ppl's Ping list longer, but I also feel bad maybe you have to come back and see everything is tidied up... Kindly, Omotecho (talk) 12:13, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
