[Since we are on Meta now, I suppose it'd be better to stay here with our discussion for clarity.]

Thank you for raising this concerns. First, regarding the "initial agreement" - I'm not aware of any formal or explicit agreement that I would refrain from translation-related edits. If such an understanding exists, I would really appreciate a link or clarification, because I certainly did not intend to breach any community expectation. Second, about the edits described as "translation work" - my reasoning has been based on observable majority usage within existing scowiki content. For example, where I see "professional" used 50 times and "profeesional" used 100 times across articles, I assume the latter reflects current on-wiki convention. I am not introducing new forms; I am aligning usage with what already appears to be dominant on the project. If the community prefers a different standard, I am fully open to following that. Similarly, with cases like "was" -> "wis" - this is not speculative translation but reflecting what appears overwhelmingly in existing content. If the consensus is that such replacements should not be made without prior discussion, I will of course pause and bring such cases to discussion first. I would also like to note that I have written full-length articles on scowiki (e.g., sco:Karol Nawrocki and sco:Rafał Trzaskowski) without relying on mechanical translation. Those were written in accordance with existing usage patterns on the wiki. To be absolutely clear: I am not attempting to reshape Scots orthography, nor to impose external standards. My edits are based strictly on internal consistency within the wiki itself. If that approach is not desired, I am happy to suspend such edits until clearer guidelines are agreed. My intention has been maintenance and consistency, not translation. If there are specific concerns about particular edits, I would welcome concrete diffs so we can review them transparently.
