Im active in Aruba's cultural sector. My work focuses on the art, music, heritage, and culture of Aruba. Photography and music are my passions. On Wikimedia, I help develop new articles, translate articles into Papiamento, add photographs, and create Wikidata items. I am most active on Wikimedia Commons.
From January 2025 to June 2026, I served as the Wikimedian in Residence (WiR) in Aruba activating the pilot project through Wikimedia Nederland, supporting partnerships with cultural institutions, organizing community activities, and contributing content to Wikimedia projects.
During the execution of the pilot project (Wikipedia on Aruba) I have contribute:
- More that 1000 photos taken in Aruba which can be found under category Wikipedia on Aruba [1]
- Translated articles to Wikipedia Papiamento
- Created new wikidata items on people, geography and food of Aruba
- Support the creation of Wiki educational materials in Papiamento
I'm currently contributing to Wikimedia as Wiki volunteer based in Aruba. I help grow the Wikipedia on Aruba community trough social media by sharing updates and information.
