I'm planning to use this rollbacker rights to patrol several small Nusantara Wikipedias (su, map-bms, bjn, bug, ace) as well as other sister projects (e.g. Indonesian Wikiquote, which I held temporary adminship before). Some of these wikis are simply inactive or even abandoned and prone to cross-wiki vandalism (e.g. this case), so I'm looking forward to contribute more to fight vandalism. Thank you.   - @Taketa: With promotion to global sysop it is common to leave the global rollback rights... I know we remove other rights when we promote people to steward, but with global sysop it's different. Mostly because global sysop is subject to an inactivity policy, while global rollback is not. Could you please re-add the global rollback rights again? Thanks. (PS. I corrected that shortly after adding them, as global rollback is not superfluous to global sysop, the former being fully global and the latter being limited to the wikiset. Sa vh ^ñ 21:31, 29 October 2015 (UTC)

I would like to request global renamer rights to assist users I often come across at OTRS who have created (policy violating) usernames for their companies but actually wish to stick around and contribute. I believe I should be granted this right as I am a 7 year Wikipedia editor, am trusted, will always follow guidelines/checklists and will always ask if unsure. I was looking last week end for new global renamers, especially in less common languages, but help is always welcome and I guess another en>3 is not bad per se. Firstly, do you speak any other language? Secondly, I just don't understand how you "come across at OTRS", because in Special:CentralAuth you are not listed as an OTRS volunteer. Is it a bug? I am asking that because you only have 3000 edits, and without other activities I am not sure if they are sufficient to build up enough expertise in the field of "user-related issues".-Alexmar983 (talk) 23:44, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

ok. But it still not a lot of experience. It would be different if he spoke some "rare" or "missing" language, but he is en-N... In additon to that I don't see other GRs complaining for the workload, so I Oppose for the moment. Oppose I have doubt to this user, 3000 global edits and most of them came from English Wikipedia doesn't promote the user understanding of the need of crosswiki experiences like rename on different language. Other than that this user don't have any experience on rename process such as becoming a clerk (this will allow other user giving you a positive outlook despite not having a crosswiki experience), third I don't think there are so much relation between OTRS access and rename, usually only usurping request from time to time need to ask identities of the owner of the account by using OTRS. Oppose Not enough contributions to the renaming process itself. Many administrators on enwiki are involved in unblocking users that have requested an unblock in order to request a username change. However, they know very little of the renaming process itself and thus wouldn't make for a good global renamer. I think the same goes for here as well. I got my start in the renaming process by clerking w:en:WP:CHUS, and even though I was never a bureaucrat (back when crats were the only ones who could rename users), clerking got me the experience I needed. --I am k6ka ^{Talk to me!} _{See what I have done} 00:46, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Oppose Only contributions to the changing username process is the creation of a redirect. Also, I'm not satisfied with the I have always considered helping with somthing that's easy to do. comment. I'm active on many wikis as part of the Medical Translation Project, and beyond creating translations, cleanup, fixing templates and installing modules I also patrol articles I've worked on for vandalism. I've been having issues on Wikis where I am not autoconfirmed and would like this to avoid issues like this when installing modules and to avoid having to enter captchas all the time.
