Wiki Loves Women/SheSaid/SheSaid 2026

Current phase: Grant application period (deadline: 1 July 2026). |
#SheSaid is an international campaign under the Wiki Loves Women umbrella that focuses on improving the visibility of women by creating and enhancing entries about them on Wikiquote. By documenting their words, wisdom, and achievements, the campaign addresses the persistent gender gap in the representation of notable women across open knowledge platforms.
Since its launch in October 2020, the #SheSaid campaign has achieved outstanding success, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and Wikimedia communities around the world. More than 42K articles have been created or improved across 22 languages, significantly amplifying the presence of women’s voices on Wikiquote. See the previous results here.
Welcome to #SheSaid 2026 – 7th Edition
[edit]The #SheSaid campaign is now in its 7th year. The goal is simple: to share the words and ideas of women on Wikiquote.
From September 1st to December 31st, 2026, we want the campaign to grow even more. We hope more people from more countries and languages will join us. It doesn’t matter if you are new or experienced with Wikimedia, everyone can take part!
Women have shaped our world. Let’s make sure their voices are remembered and shared.
Join #SheSaid 2026 and help change the world, one quote at a time.
