Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

• Senator Choko, a Mass Communication graduate, is a dedicated contributor to the Igbo Wikimedia User Group. With a passion for preserving Igbo culture, he utilizes his communication skills to enhance the visibility of the Igbo language on Wikimedia platforms. Senator Choko's commitment to bridging language gaps through digital media showcases his unwavering dedication to cultural preservation and community engagement. He has organised/facilitated many Wikimedia events and programs(Wikidata 13th birthday and Wiki data 12th birthday, WPWP Campaign,Wikipedia Project, Igbo Wikiquote project,Wiki Loves Africa Campaign... etc). Receiving a used laptop from the Wikimedia Foundation would greatly support and strengthen my contributions to the Wikimedia movement, especially within the Igbo community. I have actively contributed through editathons, community engagement, and outreach programs aimed at promoting free knowledge and Igbo language content.The laptop would also enhance my work in improving health-related content on Wikimedia platforms and serve as a major boost to my online and offline Wikimedia activities, enabling me to contribute more effectively, consistently, and impactfully. I will not be attending Wikimania in Paris personally, but a trusted member of the Wikimedia community in Nigeria who will be present at the event can receive the laptop on my behalf.I will ensure that all necessary arrangements and authorization are properly handled, and the laptop will be safely delivered to me in Nigeria. It will greatly support and enhance my contributions to Wikimedia projects, particularly in healthcare-related content and activities within the Igbo Wikimedia community.
