The Nile Valley Cultural Initiative (Arabic: مبادرة وادي النيل الثقافية) is an online editorial activity on the Arabic Wikipedia, jointly organized by the Egypt Wikimedians User Group and the Wikimedia Community User Group Sudan, running from December 1 to 31, 2025.

The initiative aims to highlight cultural diversity and promote knowledge exchange among people through Wikimedia projects in the fields of literature, music, arts and cinema, cuisine, and heritage sites by increasing the number of cultural articles on Wikipedia about Sudan, Egypt, and other participating countries; improving the quality of existing articles through development and the addition of reliable sources; empowering participants with editing tools and raising their awareness of the importance of cultural documentation; attracting new editors to the encyclopedia; building a collaborative network among Wikimedia user groups from multiple countries; and encouraging the cross-translation of cultural articles between different languages (Arabic, English, Spanish, French, etc.).
