The ESEAP Community Connectors, or ECCs, are a trusted group of ESEAP Wikimedians authorized to represent communities in Hub affairs and serve as the candidate pool and electorate for electing the members of the ESEAP Steering Committee (StC). They are trusted by a significant number of community members and recognized for their rich experience in community organization.
Based on the ESEAP Hub Charter, new ECCs are selected through a self-nomination process followed by a 14-day endorsement period. ESEAP Wikimedians can choose to “Support,” “Oppose,” or remain “Neutral.” Within the 14-day endorsement period, candidates who receive at least thirty (30) net “Support” votes become Community Connectors. ECC members do not require re-election and have no term limit unless dismissed by process.
