Cebu WikiConference 2025/Submissions/Uploading Images Workshop

This is a hands-on workshop designed to empower both new and experienced Wikimedians to contribute high-quality images. The main goal is to simplify the entire process, from creating an account and using Upload Wizard to correctly licensing photos under Creative Commons. By the end of the session, every participant will have successfully uploaded at least one image with proper details, building confidence and sense of ownership. The key takeaway is that contributing images is a powerful way to enrich Wikipedia and its sister projects, helping to preserve local culture and make information more engaging for a global audience. We'll show you that you're not just uploading a photo—you're building a shared library of human knowledge.
