Requests for usurpation or deleting global accounts

Attention!

Stewards are not allowed to rename users on projects with active bureaucrats. Not possible, since you already merged your accounts. We will first have to delete your global account. (You will have local accounts on all merged wikis then.) Do you want that? Btw., you have to ask the bureaucrats on the respective wikis to get your accounts fixed there. Only those without local crats can be done by us. And afaik all of the mentioned wikis have bureaucrats. --Thogo (talk) 19:59, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

If the user account was created by a stalker/vandalizer this can easily be checked by the IP in the server logs (don't know: is this legal ?). Can a global CU be addressed regarding this ? If it is like this, then there should be no problem with usurping.

If not, I am not sure how this all is contradictory to the principle Wikipedia:Assume good faith (see also comment here).

0 edits can mean: that the user on de.WV didn't start a negative action against the user (or de.WV) since more than 230 days. You can also say: that user didn't contribute (positively) to de.WV - there are many other user accounts like this on de.WV and probably elsewhere. Ruud habets

• Please make an edit with li:user:Ruud habets confirming that you own it (like an edit to your user page that says "This account belongs to global user Ruud Habets"). I'll need to unmerge your accounts before renaming, and you can merge your accounts again afterwards; is this okay?
• I can not rename nl:user:Ruud, because nl:user:Ruud Habets already exists; you'll need to choose one or the other.

Agony

I request my SUL account deletion to usurp commons:User:Agony, de:User:Agony, en:User:Agony, b:User:Agony, wikt:User:Agony (and possible also fr:User:Agony and tr:User:Agony). Also ar:User:Agony and ar:b:User:Agony exists but this user is so active that I think Im not able to have that user account (unless user give up account name of own accord). Kikos

I have main account (and SUL) with name "Kikos" and several accounts with name "Kikos64". Can I merge accounts from wo:User:Kikos64, ar:User:Kikos64, fr:User:Kikos64, de:User:Kikos64 and en:User:Kikos64 to "Kikos"? Wiktionary:ru:User:Rombik -> Wiktionary:ru:User:Роман Беккер.

Please help me with renaming my user account Rombik on ru.wiktionary.org to Роман Беккер, because I want to SUL-merge it with my main account, which is Wikipedia:ru:User:Роман Беккер. I forgot to rename my accounts before I merged them, the ones i want renames are frwp, simplewp, jawp, kmwp. So err can you do what you can do?

Hello. I'd like to unify my alternate username but there are two accounts in the way. pl:User:Misza (no edits, no log entry) - request made for local crats; and fi:User:Misza. I'd like the latter to be renamed. fi.wiki has 2 active crats, both of whom are unwilling to approach the issue (quoting "no policy" and no plans to develop one here and here).
