The result was: delete. Fys. “Ta fys aym”. 09:43, 27 August 2007 (UTC)reply
A Google search doesn't yield many results for this name, and not all of them are for the same person. Even the Wikipedia article for Earlham College doesn't list him in its Notable Faculty section. It would appear that his fame is not much more than local. - InvisibleSun 02:56, 20 August 2007 (UTC)reply

- Delete, unless evidence of notability is provided. ~ UDScott 14:11, 20 August 2007 (UTC)reply
- Delete Found the journal with the article so does have a true sourced quote. But I do not see evidence that this is a remarkable quote for our purposes. Delete unless evidence that this person is notable for remarkable quotes based on reliable sources. FloNight 17:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)reply
- Comment I'm in two minds about notability - Wikipedia isn't infallible on that score.--Poetlister 17:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)reply
- Delete Disagree with Poetlister - lacks notability.--Cato 19:26, 20 August 2007 (UTC)reply
- Delete. Even without blindly relying on Wikipedia as a measure of notability, there are 366 GHits for this person when I searched (#1 is the Wikiquote page). Beyond that are a couple of messages to a mailing list, some mentions from Lehigh University domain (but nothing beyond an essay, really), followed by some online poker sites and his entry at "ratemyprofessor.com". None of these results suggest that he has any sort of larger notability. —LrdChaos (talk) 17:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC)reply
