Sophie: He's not picking up. I can't even tell him how wrong it's all gone.

Rosie: Do you think he's just not hearing the phone? Or that he's taking it out of his pocket, seeing it's you and deciding not to answer?

Tanya: It's wonderful that you put that image in her head. [softly] Bolster, bolster.

Rosie: I think his phone's on silent. [eating slices of cucumber]

Sophie: I don't even know what I would say to him anyway.

Tanya: You would say you love him more than you love this argument.

Rosie: That's really good.

Tanya: I know.

Sophie: I love him more than any argument.

Rosie: Ooh.

Sophie: Just wish he was here so I could tell him.

Rosie: Well, I wish Bill was here, too, so that I could hit him.

Sophie: What did go wrong with you two?

Rosie: Ah. Well, there was this other woman hanging around, and I asked him about her, and you know you're in trouble when the word "just" comes before the word "friends."

Tanya: That's how most of my marriages ended, too.
