Madhukar (born Bernd Merkle, November 4, 1957 in Stuttgart) is a German spiritual teacher of Advaita Vedanta and author. A disciple of H. W. L. Poonja (Papaji), he is known for leading international satsang retreats focused on self-inquiry and non-duality. His teachings are often described as rooted in Jnana Yoga, the "yoga of knowledge", emphasizing silence, self-knowledge, and the question "Who am I?".
