[edit]- I don’t think that the word leader has to do with a particular talent or a particular field.A leader is a leader, and this cuts across in different ways.

- We live in a world where women are abused daily and are unable to speak up. One out of four women experience some form of sexual violence in their lifetime. This crime can take place at anytime and can happen to anyone regardless of tribe, religion or social class. Sadly, the society’s response to this heinous crime has led victims to believe that silence is the best option. However, Speaking up is our greatest weapon in this fight against sexual violence.

- I would tackle gender inequality. Nigerian women (and women in general) deserve to wake up in a world where everyone has equal rights and opportunities.
- Don't put so much pressure on yourself. We are all still trying to figure out this thing called life.
- If I could impart any value to younger women, it would be to avoid distractions as much as possible and focus on what's really important in life.
- I know how difficult it is for rape victims to speak up to anyone about what they have gone through because we live in a society where it's difficult to find that kind of trust or solace in a person, and that's why the foundation is currently working on a centre where victims can come to for any form of assistance.
- We promote the needs of women and girls who have experienced sexual violence by providing them with medical care and social rehabilitation.
- I have two lessons actually. The first one is not to have any regret in life. I see everything as a learning experience. If something doesn't work, you move on and then you can make something else work better. The second one is to take responsibility for myself. So, basically I am responsible for myself. I am not entitled. I don't think the world owes me anything. I make a decision and whatever comes out of it, I take responsibility for it.
- I love Chimamanda and Oprah Winfrey. Chimamanda actually is someone that I really look up to. I love the way she speaks. I love the way she articulates her thoughts and I love her brand of feminism. For Oprah, I just love her for the hardworking woman that she is. Chimamanda is a great writer.
