Ad Astra (film)
Ad Astra is a 2019 psychological science fiction film about Roy McBride, an astronaut who travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father. His father, a pioneering astronaut played by Tommy Lee Jones, disappeared decades earlier while searching for alien life on a mission near Neptune. When mysterious and catastrophic power surges originating from Neptune threaten life on Earth, Roy must retrace his father's voyage, uncovering dark truths and confronting deep emotional isolation along the way.
