Добрый день! Недавно в Татарской Википедии (https://tt.wikipedia.org) столкнулись с проблемой, при котором визуальный редактор и редактор вики-разметки полностью не функционируют. Данная проблема видна в браузерах Microsoft Edge и Google Chrome (по словам моих коллег в браузере Firefox все в порядке, но сам не тестировал, не уверен). Switch from wiki-text to visual editing in wikisource

ru: Редактирование существующей страницы (страница:...). При Переключении из режима вики-текста в визуальное редактирование происходит следующее:

1. Весь текст оказывается в поле заголовок
2. Удаляется весь текст, который был ранее в Заголовке и Нижнем колонтитуле

en: Editing exist page (Page:...). When switch from the wiki text in visual editing the following occurs:

1. All text from the Page body moves in the Header

@Whatamidoing (WMF): Yes, sadly it's a known bug: T138673. Solving it is difficult because it requires to modify VisualEditor in order to allow ProofreadPage to customize the WikiEditor -> VisualEditor switch. Tpt (talk) 18:31, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

I don't seem to be able to get the Beta Feature's wikitext editor (which has a black-and-white toolbar, not a blue one) to open on these pages at all. However, switching from the 2010 wikitext editor into regular/visual-mode VisualEditor certainly makes a mess – and a worse mess when looking at the diff before saving than the actual save, because all of the HTML <section> codes are replaced with ## Identifiers ## in the diff, even though it's saved correctly. User:SSastry (WMF), have you seen anything like that before? I don't remember seeing a similar problem.

I tried the two that are linked in Vadimzer's comment above.

Step one for the Wikisources and Wikitionaries is to opt-in to both Beta Features ("Visual editing" and "New wikitext mode"); step two for me is to switch the editing prefs to show both tabs. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 22:30, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

The Wikipedia visual editor is great. But what about Wictionary (german)? I activated the Beta, but there are no EDIT tabs appearing. What can I do? Martin Henke (talk) 20:32, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Hallo, Martin, and thank you for this question.

At the Wiktionaries, you have to enable two Beta Features at wikt:de:Spezial:Einstellungen#mw-prefsection-betafeatures: both "⧼visualeditor-preference-core-label⧽" and "⧼visualeditor-preference-newwikitexteditor-label⧽". Then, if you want it to look like the typical setup for the German Wikipedia, you may need to go to wikt:de:Spezial:Einstellungen#mw-prefsection-editing and choose two tabs in the "Editing mode:" dropdown menu.

Also, sometimes, after I enable the Beta Feature, I have needed to reload the page to show the right editing tools. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:19, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

Using the Visual Editor corrupted the text

I made a simple edit using the Visual Editor (adding "if" in 3 places), but the page got corrupted in the process. Some "{"s got lost, and a "<nowiki> was wrapped around others.
