Assistance with multiple developer accounts linked to my Wikimedia account

I hope you're doing well.

I am experiencing an issue with my Wikimedia developer account and would appreciate your assistance. I recently created a new developer account with the username YoungMd, which I would like to use going forward. However, it appears that my Wikimedia account (username: Justine Msechu) is associated with more than one developer account, and I'm not sure how to switch to or make YoungMd the active developer account.

Could you please help me use YoungMd as my developer account, or let me know what steps I need to take? If necessary, I'd also appreciate your help removing or disconnecting the older developer account.

Wikimedia username: Justine Msechu

Preferred developer account: YoungMd

@Justine Msechu: Assuming you are referring to account links in the Toolforge admin console, you should be able to link your Wikimedia account to the new developer account now. taavi (talk!) 10:29, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
