Description

[edit]

This template is the combination of an image from Commons with a caption that includes the Wikidata icon and a wikitext link to a Wikidata query or data output within it. The WikidataQueryLink template is used to add the Wikidata icon and link. The main purpose is to make it easier for readers to see that they can explore data related to what they're looking at on Wikidata. Example usages include linking to Wikidata under images of the population of a region over time, images depicting demographic breakdowns and any other data related images that Wikidata has the data for.
