Hi, I'm Giorgx12 and 6 months ago I started modifying Wikimedia's project, making edits predominantly in Italian Wikipedia. I don't have any alerts on my Mediawiki's talk, bu I've some in Italian Wiki. I am native Italian and about B1+ in English. I'd like to become a translation admin because I want to contribute to translation in which I made about 200 edits on translatewiki.net. Oppose. I'm not sure we need more translation admins, and you have not expressed why you need those rights---note that you don't need translation rights to make translations. Your growing partial ban on the Italian site is also a major concern. --Clump (talk) 11:20, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'd like to become a translation admin because I noticed that in Italian only a few of pages are translated, and I want to improve MediaWiki also in my language. Becoming a translation admin can give me more possibilities to help. Regarding the partial block on Italian Wikipedia I want to tell you that it was some months ago and I was too impulsive. Comment: I don't want to fail the user, but I would like it to be clear that this request just requires less haste and more experience, and that the flag may be requested again in the future if needed.
