Not to be confused with: Extension:Avatar.
Avatars handles profile images of wiki users. If a user does not upload a profile image, an automatically generated avatar is used instead.
Usage / features
[edit]This extension adds an option to each user's page to change the profile image. At the top of their user page, users can see their current profile image with a menu option to change the image. Users have several options for setting a profile image:
- Upload a new image
- Use an image that is already on the wiki or an image from the web (through URL)
- Generate a new avatar
In the configuration, an administrator can choose from two types of avatars:
- InstantAvatar - Random - The image contains initials of the user's name.
- Identicon - Not random - The image is based on the user's IP address.
Requirements
[edit]Avatars requires BlueSpice Foundation.
