CEE/Newsletter/Newsroom/The Curious Case of the Petersburg Delegation

- By: Lvova
To make this possible, it was not enough to just come to the conference: Красный joined the Core Organizing Team, and Lvova joined the "Core Organizing Team+"; both worked in the conference program committee. During the conference, together with Екатерина Борисова presented a total of five events of various formats. Lvova и ElenaLitera as T&S volunteers guaranteed the safety of the conference space. Also, our traditional, but slightly updated poster was presented on behalf of the entire user group. We wanted to be useful to the local Wiki Community, and we hope that we succeeded in this. The success of how we managed to present ourselves as a team is evidenced by the joke told at the end of the conference, according to which outside the conference Victoria heard questions about whether she was Russian, and at the conference - questions about whether she was from Saint Petersburg.
It's nice that our teamwork turned out to be possible in such a serious representative format, even though user group members who reach Wikicon are usually separated by about 3,600 kilometers. And let's hope that this is not our last opportunity to show up in the wiki community.
