東亞與東南亞維基人會議的目的是讓東亞與東南亞的維基媒體組織成員進行一次地區性的會晤。本次會議正在籌備中，本文也並非最終版本。

背景

在2014年維基媒體國際會議上，一些來自東亞和東南亞地區的維基人（中國維基媒體用戶組的Addis、香港維基媒體協會的Samuel和Kris、菲律賓維基媒體協會的Eugene和Joel、印尼維基媒體協會的Ichsan、中華民國維基媒體協會的Liang、泰國維基媒體用戶組的Taweetham以及維基媒體教育項目團隊的Anna Koval）討論了通過開展地區性的合作可以實現哪些願景。

目的

我們期望這次會議能夠為我們在具體工作上的合作並學習成功案例提供機會。另外，通過這次「迷你維基媒體國際會議」，我們想讓與會的各區域組織成員能分享他們在參與不同項目時積累的經驗以便新成員能夠獲得必要的建議。

      1. WMF: Grants, Eval&Design, Edu, GLAM
    3. How to work with other organization that willing to share the Open Knowledge
    4. How to train the trainers

  1. Griya Yunika Boutique HomeStay, Yogyakarta (http://griyayunika.com). WMID members stayed in this place during one of our outreach activities. Small, but very nice place. Wifi provided, but no skypeing etc. that consume large bandwidth. Capacity maybe for around 15 people, but there are many nearby hotel (within 1–3 minutes walk) to accommodate more people (say up to 20-30 people meetup). The location is a bit far from the city central of Yogyakarta (need a bit effort to go to downtown or elsewhere), so it can make people concentrate to the program. Assumptions: $1.00 = Rp. 12,000.00
