Global unblock request (Göksu Başaran)

Hello,

I am Göksu Başaran from the Netherlands. My IP address (109.38.140.144) appears to be globally blocked on Turkish Wikipedia.

I am a journalist and the founder of the independent media and policy platform PolicyGrey.nl. I only attempted to create an informational article about this organization, but my IP was mistakenly flagged for multiple account abuse.

I fully respect Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability principles. My intention was not self-promotion but to contribute factual and publicly relevant information.

I kindly request a review of this block and, if possible, that my IP be unblocked or that I be allowed to create an account again.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

@~2025-28333-97 / @Göksu Başaran the IP address you mentioned is not globally blocked, it's just locally blocked at nlwiki [1]. You shouldn't have any issues on trwiki, unless it's a different IP you're talking about. Johannnes89 (talk) 09:40, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Global unblock request (IP address 2603:6013:A740:326B:0:0:0:0/64 blocked)

I am appealing the block on my IP address. The block reason is: Cross-wiki abuse. I sincerely apologize for my disruptive actions and fully accept that they were a violation of Wikimedia's policy. I have read the relevant policies and understand why my behavior was unacceptable. I assure you that this will not happen again, and I would like to be granted an opportunity to contribute constructively. Lmurdock20 (talk) 13:09, 17 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done global block has expired. Johannnes89 (talk) 21:43, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

"See also"

@JJMC89, why did you add a redundant "see also" section when the first paragraph already has "Global locks should not be confused with Global blocks and Global bans"? ~~~~
