Project description	Nowadays it is necessary to pay to have a barcode for a worldwide product. Called GTIN for poorer countries, this is a way of obstructing the local industry, or the investment of products by more humble people. Other than that, people who have a local production lose visibility on the internet on google when they have a small page of their homemade products, even if these are better than the industrial ones. For ordinary people to pay monthly for each product they make, it is very expensive. Why is there no open, free GTIN number? That would help the whole dumb! It would also be great to join other wikimedia projects!
