cawiki
Hi. I've known today that I've been accused of being a sockpuppet in Catalan Wikipedia (ca:Usuari:Artista). I'm sure that in my one year long list of contributions you'll see that I usually use three diferent connections and only in excepcions others. I only wonder if with your tools you can differenciate public and private connexions to the net. Thanks. Artista 13:14, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Re:Status
Regarding your comment about the data-stream it has been removed from the status template which links to my subpages & pages it'll not be shown including the images of my navbox and yes i do respect copyright. →Yun-Yuuzhan→ 19:26, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just out of curiosity are there any user scripts on meta-wiki, which i could use. Because on wikipedia there's lots of scripts including scripts for reverting vandalism or monitoring vandalism. But are there any scripts which i could use on this site. →Yun-Yuuzhan→ 19:37, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

- (additional comment) As Nekosuki600 stated before on this page, most Japanese do not have so good English writing skills. I can speak, read, and write English largely due to education at Ohio State University, but most Japanese do not have such experience. GcG just directly translated the word for those who told a lie, merely because he did not know other English words, and it is the fact that Aphaia told a lie in her steward election. If you trust Aphaia and want her to keep her adminship it's fine, but please stop this kind of defensiveness and trial to shut out any critical facts, just as Aphaia had been doing in Japanese Wikipedia before she was indefinitely blocked. We are all stating the fact. Please try to know the fact before you try to defend her and yourself. Yassie 11:14, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I am not defending anyone? - Even less myself? Why should I defend myself, from what? The word "liar" is an insult. End. Therefore an attack, he was asked kindly to remove it, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| ∇ 11:35, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I know the word somewhat strong, but he used the word simply because he did not know other words to describe those who told a lie. In fact, in Japan even those with bachelor's degree have several-thousand word level of English vocabulary, which is a quarter or a half of average 6th-grade school girls/boys in the United States. I know we Japanese have to improve our English communication skills a lot, but please understand the language barriers. Please focus on the content rather than wording. Yassie 11:45, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- I know the language barriers, that is why I did not block him, but ask him kindly and explained it, I would have blocked a native English speaker, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| ∇ 11:47, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay. Now I got what you meant, so I hereby hide the Template:attack part of this section as commenting lines. Actually, GcG has already changed the wording.
- In most cases when Japanese use such words, those are mere direct translations of Japanese words, simply because they do not know other words. Again, please focus on the content and know the fact before tabbing "personal attacks" and/or put that template by wording. Tabbing "personal attacks" without adequate proof itself is a personal attack, you know. For goodness for both you and us. Thanks. Yassie 11:58, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| ∇ 12:02, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- (P.S. Please also note, that I am a bit sensitized to this topic ([6]). I will not judge neither sides because I can't judge what I don't know, one word stands against another word now. The only thing I can judge is what I have seen here by myself, what is positive only. I am deeply hoping that this issue in ja.wiki will be solved amicably, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| ∇ 12:17, 12 January 2008 (UTC))
- That comment might have been made by a vandal in Japanese Wikipedia. At least, I support your revert there, for it was an obvious vandalism. However, such wording by most Japanese, including GcG, come from poor English vocabulary, not malice.
- I know Aphaia is working well here, and wonder why she acts so differently between in meta and in Japanese Wikipedia. She even told a lie in the election. Considering what she had done to Japanese Wikipedia, and total difference of her behavior between projects, I cannot trust her at all. To us, it is quite apparent that Aphaia is taking advantages of the language barriers. Yassie 12:32, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Bureaucrats on small wikis
Hi, please explain why you don't grant bureaucratship to any small community. The Saterfrisian Wikipedia is crowded with interwiki bots like any other, and understandably they pollute the list of recent changes. So if anything, we badly need a bureaucrat for granting bot statuses. Steinbach (formerly Caesarion) 09:04, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, it is no problem asking for bot status at Requests for bot status, please consider implementing the bot policy, to make the process easier, the bot status will be granted quite quickly then. The reason for not granting permanent right and even less bureaucrat-status on a project with such a small community is that can't be a voting and it already had caused troubles in the past, like people thinking that bureaucratship is some kind of higher status over other users and becoming dictators. I am not saying You would do the latter, but it is a reason we simply don't do this anymore. As soon as a community establishs there You are of course invited to hold a voting. Until then You could think about sysop-status. Thanks for Your understanding, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| ∇ 10:34, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

InterProject
Hallo Spacebirdy,
Naja, so muss man halt eingeben:
{{User:Spacebirdy/InterProject|
*{{User:Spacebirdy/InterProject/Commons|Example}}
}}
und sonst nur:
{{User:Spacebirdy/InterProject/Commons|Example}}
--- MfG, Melancholie 13:48, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- P.S.: Habe im Commons Village Pump was geschrieben (wegen "multi-language")! --- MfG, Melancholie 14:32, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

--- MfG, Melancholie 19:51, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
