The Wikipedia Sensitivty Barometer (WSM) is an online tool to evaluate the vulnerability of each Wikipedia page across three dimensions: Heat, Quality, and Behaviour. Homepage:

Project

The project combined the power of LLMs combined with dynamic network analysis for the in-depth recognition of formal patterns across media outlets, social networks and Wikipedia, in 8 languages, based on the rhetorical similarities observed qualitatively.

Each metric is normalised between 0 and 1 using functions that are robust to extreme values.

Team

The WSM was developed in the context of the pilot project PROMPT, a consortium-project led by the French company Opsci.ai. PROMPT (Predictive Research On Misinformation & Propagation Trajectories) advanced the work of the European Narratives Observatory. It analyzed vast amounts of textual data to detect malevolent narratives, focussing on three case-studies: the war in Ukraine, LGBTQI+ rights, and the 2024 European elections.
