- Hi DerHexer! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to clarify a few things regarding your interpretation of my stance in the Galahad presentation. It's a bit disheartening to see it viewed that way, especially coming from someone like you. If my decision had been influenced by the Galahad presentation, I definitely would have taken the time to review the current candidates' presentations and adjusted my "vote" accordingly. Lately, I've been reflecting on the stewards' work throughout 2024, and I’ve come across some aspects that I don’t quite agree with, which don’t align with my expectations for a steward. That said, I’ve chosen to keep my thoughts to myself since it’s just my personal view of what I’d like to see in that role. I truly believe everyone is welcome to share their opinions in presentations, and it doesn’t impact me. It certainly didn’t sway me during my own GRN presentation, so I’m not sure why it would in someone else's case. - (ec) Alright, thanks for the clarification, but would have made more sense to give more meaning to the change because blank opposes will not have any kind of effect on the confirmation process as current and newly elected stewards will weigh the arguments in their vote of confirmation. The way it is put now it's a controversial change without clear reasoning. Certainly, you can give your comment as much as I can give it on other places, but mine at least had a specific reason mentioned (other than Galahad is saying above). I have talked with Galahad about it offwiki. For me, I accept what has happened and want to apologize for expressing my feelings about that unexpected change so loudly.
