Hi Drini. I wanted to thank you for your antispam work on the WikiMedia projects. You are taking absolutely the right approach.

As it happens, these spammers are not just targeting the Wikimedia projects, they are also hitting http://en.literateprograms.org. The wiki owner, en:User:Dcoetzee, has made me an administrator there and I have been blocking spammers there over the last few weeks, although I haven't yet tried pre-emptive blocking. I'll need to discuss that with Deco first. Anyway, I wonder if you would be interested in sharing spamming IP addresses? Hi, I saw on the simple english wikipedia's auto-list of sysops when your name came up on it. While I know, you're a steward and can [probably] give yourself sysop rights anywhere, I ask if you can remove while you aren't using it so it wouldn't cause confusion to some users.
