Hi Jwild, I read the post at the Wikimedia blog about producing an offline version of the portuguese wikipedia. We have currently a review procedure similar to the one at the english Wikipedia at [[:pt:WP:1.0]] which might serve as the backbone for the selection procedure. We at Wikimedia Portugal were also partnering with the manufacturer of the [[:pt:Portátil Magalhães|laptop Magalhães]] to include an offline copy of Wikipedia in the newer release of the laptop.
