Global IP Block

Hello @Hoo man Myself Nexovia I am active contibutor of Wikipedia I have an rollback right also then I decided to contribute on WikiBooks but I was shocked by seeing that my IP has been globally block but strange I haven't literally made non edits in any projects of Wiki so I was pretty shocked by the Global block so please I request you to review it please and I am unaware from the vandalism made from this IP but I haven't done or edited any wiki so please I saw it was blocked by you so review it. 2400:1a00:b1e0:a172:536:f00e:118f:91da Nexovia (talk) 10:52, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

@Nexovia: It seems you got accidentally caught in this global block, which was meant to stop a cross wiki abuser (who had a different IP in that IP range earlier today). GlobalRename Issue Follow-Up

Hello Hoo, I hope you're well. My apologies for briefly assigning you on Phabricator earlier.

I'm reaching out regarding the long-standing task T95408 about Liangent's lost user-page revisions on zhwiki (from the 2015 accidental rename; it has been 10 years already). When you have a moment, could you kindly advise whether recovery might still be feasible, or who would be the right person/team to contact? For context, the zhwiki community is considering adding a note to local Policy advising not to delete Liangent's orphaned user pages pending resolution, so a definitive outcome would be very helpful. If restoration isn't possible, a short note on the task explaining why would really help the community. Func has already provided a precise list of 61 affected pages, timestamps, and revisions that might be useful.
