== Objectives == 

As with Wikimedians of the Levant, there has not been sufficient participation to establish individual groups, so it has been decided to pursue a group to support the whole region. There is particular interest in supporting languages like Haitian Creole that are particular to the region, developing content covering underrepresented regional topics, and also to support offline access for areas that do not otherwise have access.

*An early group of Caribbean Wikimedians was formed at [https://wikiconference.org/wiki/2018/Main_Page WikiConference North America], at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, October 20th, 2018.

On November 27th 2019 Wiki Cari and Microsoft Caribbean hosted the first event meetup in Puerto Rico.
