'''WikiIndaba Conference''' is the regional conference for Africans both within and in the diaspora. The first edition was held in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2014 by [[<tvar name=1>Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia South Africa</tvar>|Wikimedia ZA]]. In 2017 the conference moved to Accra, Ghana, and was organized by [[<tvar name=2>Special:MyLanguage/Open Foundation West Africa</tvar>|Open Foundation West Africa]]. The 2018 edition was held in Tunis, Tunisia by [[<tvar name=3>Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia Tunisie</tvar>|Wikimedia TN Usergroup]], while the [[<tvar name=6>Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia UG Nigeria</tvar>|Wikimedia UG Nigeria]] arranged the 2019 in the federal capital, [[<tvar name=4>{{lwp|Abuja}}</tvar>|Abuja]], [[<tvar name=5>{{lwp|Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria}}</tvar>|FCT]].
