Wikimedia Developer Summit/2017/Room Setup
We have a venue buyout, so Monday - Wednesday all rooms in the Golden Gate Club will be used by Wikimedia.
Below you will find daily room set-up descriptions and uses.
Rooms for pre-scheduled sessions
Ventana
- Use: Event opening, Pre-scheduled sessions, unconference sign-up wall
- Set-up: Theater, with 5 standing tables in the back
- Capacity: 180
- Projector: Yes, 10 foot
- Video: Yes, professional videographer for all sessions. No live streaming.
- Mics: Yes, 4. Two audience stands and two stage microphones
- Other: Coffee, water & soda available in Ventana throughout the days
Hawthorn
- Use: Pre-scheduled sessions, remote participation

- Front of venue/outdoor: lunch served, a few outdoor standing / eating tables, lawn to hang out if sunny, smoking allowed 10 ft+ away from venue doorways
