The Speedscope extension allows generating speedscope profiles for randomly selected requests and for specific requests through a URL parameter.

Installation

Note: The php-excimer and php-zlib PHP extensions are required to use the extension.

You also need to host an instance of the speedscope service, which stores and serves the profiles.


  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called Speedscope in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
    wfLoadExtension( 'Speedscope' );
    require_once "$IP/extensions/Speedscope/bootstrap.php";
    
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
