Translate the SectionAnchors extension if it is available at translatewiki.net

The SectionAnchors adds buttons to section headings. On the mouse hover over section anchors, buttons are shown that allow users to copy the URL to the respective heading on the clipboard. This eases sharing such links, e.g., on instant messengers.

Installation

  • Download and move the extracted SectionAnchors folder to your extensions/ directory.
    Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:
    cd extensions/
    git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/SectionAnchors
    
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
    wfLoadExtension( 'SectionAnchors' );
    
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
