On mouse hover over section anchors, buttons are shown that allow to copy the URL to the respective heading into the clipboard. This eases sharing of such links, e.g. on instant messengers.
Installation
- Download and move the extracted
SectionAnchorsfolder to yourextensions/directory.
Developers and code contributors should install the extension from Git instead, using:cd extensions/ git clone https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/mediawiki/extensions/SectionAnchors
- Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file:
wfLoadExtension( 'SectionAnchors' );
Done – Navigate to Special:Versionon your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
