Why you do not release wsdl api? http://www.google.com/search?hl=uk&q=define:wsdl Why should we write for each platform/language new wrapper, instead of just using wsdl, which is implemented and tested on each platform? For example on .net platform, wsdl serice is included in project with 3 clicks of mouse. [[uk:User:Alex_Blokha]]
: WSDL is just for web services, whereas we have simple HTTP get/post request-response protocol to allow many different clients to seamlessly use our API. A WSDL wrapper might be useful, and could be added at a later date. Feel free to contribute. --[[User:Yurik|Yurik]] 04:02, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
:: I don't program with php. The only thing I know about it, that wsdl support is included in last versions of php. But if you can give windows web-hosting, the web-service based on existing frameworks for wikipedia can be created. By me for example. [[uk:User:Alex_Blokha]]
