My name is Sérgio Meira, and I am a linguist, a specialist in the Cariban and Tupian language families of lowland South America. I am also interested in artificial languages, especially Volapük. I have made a number of contributions to the Volapük Wikipedia, and I have created a Volapük main page here at Wikisource, which I hope to be able to expand into a proper language domain for Volapük material. There are many original sources (texts written in or translated into Volapük) which I would like to make available to the general interested public in here.
